Job summary

Mark Williams Recruitment is seeking a Head of Finance for a leading entity based in Abu Dhabi. You will lead a small team, report to the Finance Director, and drive robust financial controls and strategic decision support.

The role offers visibility across the business and the opportunity to shape finance processes. The ideal candidate is a qualified accountant with SME/start-up experience, strong communication skills and a track record in ERP environments.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with ACA/ACCA/CPA/CMA.
• Experience in SME/start-up environments.
• Strong presentation and communication skills.
• Able to implement processes and best practice.
• Excellent ERP knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Oversee effective management of the finance function.
• Develop robust financial controls, policies, and governance.
• Provide senior management with clear financial info and insights.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis.
• Develop financial models and scenario planning.
• Provide forward analysis of revenue, costs, cash flow and performance.
• Prepare monthly and periodic management accounts.
• Produce reporting packs for senior management and stakeholders.
• Ensure timely, accurate management information and dashboards.
• Drive improvements to finance systems, tools and processes.
• Explore AI and digital tools to enhance reporting and forecasting.
