Job summary

Majid Al Futtaim Global Solutions is seeking a Director of Entertainment Technology in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, to lead technology strategy, digital transformation, and portfolio initiatives across the Entertainment business.

The role connects business leadership with technology teams, overseeing enterprise architecture, IT operations, and entertainment platforms while delivering measurable business outcomes in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Business, or a related discipline.
More than 15 years of professional experience in technology leadership.
Experience in entertainment, hospitality, retail, or other customer-facing environments preferred.
Strong knowledge of technology strategy, enterprise architecture, and portfolio management.
Experience leading large-scale digital transformation and complex technology programs.
Proven ability to influence senior executives and collaborate with business stakeholders.
Experience leading cross-functional teams across multiple operational functions.

Responsibilities

Develop and lead the Entertainment technology strategy and roadmap, ensuring alignment with business objectives and operational priorities.
Serve as the primary technology partner to Entertainment leadership and operating company executives, translating business requirements into practical technology capabilities.
Own and prioritize the entertainment technology portfolio, balancing business value, investment requirements, project budgets, and quality standards.
Direct technology initiatives that improve customer experiences across cinema and entertainment venues.
Support innovation across ticketing, reservations, customer relationship management, digital signage, loyalty, and visitor engagement platforms.
Oversee enterprise and entertainment-specific technology architecture to maintain secure, scalable, and integrated systems.
Manage critical IT operations and end-user technology support across entertainment locations.
Maintain high service availability and support business continuity for technology-dependent entertainment operations.
Lead application management activities for cinema and entertainment platforms, including system upgrades, testing, training, performance optimization, and issue resolution.
Evaluate emerging technologies and relevant industry developments to identify opportunities for digital transformation and operational improvement.
Coordinate cross-functional technology delivery and ensure initiatives contribute to measurable business outcomes.
Support commercial growth through technology solutions that strengthen operational capabilities and customer engagement.
