Job summary

Abu Dhabi National Oil Company is seeking a senior Chartering leader to provide direction to the Chartering team, shape commercial strategies, and oversee tendering activities across the business. The role requires strong leadership, extensive GCC market insight, and a proven track record in offshore/onshore chartering with a focus on profitability and compliance.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Engineering.
• Minimum 15 years of experience in commercial and chartering.
• Experience in Offshore Industry (Offshore/Onshore).
• Regional experience in GCC with IOC/NOC/EPC.
• Ability to identify issues and areas for improvement.
• Ability to prepare models to assess profitability of opportunities.
• Ability to develop commercial strategies.

Responsibilities

• Formulate tendering strategies for chartering to secure contract awards.
• Supervise and coordinate commercial team activities to meet objectives.
• Assist in planning short, medium and long-term business strategies.
• Attend client and contractor meetings related to tendering.
• Support Commercial Manager in delivering department objectives.
• Evaluate monthly management reports and propose action plans.
• Identify improvement areas with other commercial sections and plan initiatives.
• Plan and coordinate activities in the assigned area to meet objectives.
• Contribute to budgets and monitor variances to control costs.
• Implement policies and procedures to align with standards.
• Contribute to overall performance objectives within the company.
• Design tools to improve process efficiency and profitability.
