Job summary

CPX seeks a Manager - AI & Automation to lead the design, development, deployment, governance and continuous improvement of AI and automation within a multi-customer MSSP Security Operations Center.

You will supervise a multidisciplinary team delivering AI agents, agentic workflows, security automation, SOAR playbooks, and detection engineering, while ensuring secure, reliable and auditable operations across customers.

Qualifications

• Experience translating AI/automation strategy into roadmaps and delivery plans.
• Ability to lead architecture and hands-on development of AI agents and agentic workflows.
• Experience integrating agents with SIEM, SOAR, and cloud security tools.

Responsibilities

• Translate AI/automation strategy into roadmaps, backlogs, and measurable outcomes.
• Manage delivery and improvement of AI agents, agentic workflows, integrations, and playbooks.
• Prioritize initiatives based on security value, customer impact, risk, and cost.
• Lead architecture and development of enterprise-grade AI agents for security operations.
• Build agents with a vendor-agnostic approach and replaceable components.
• Design flexible solutions with portable integration patterns and standard interfaces.
• Evaluate agent development frameworks for security, maintainability, and cost.
• Develop agents using Agno, LangChain, LangGraph, Google SDK, OpenAI SDK, Mastra.
• Guide single- and multi-agent architectures for triage, investigation, and response.
• Ensure agents preserve customer context, tenant boundaries, and evidence history.
• Integrate agents with SIEM, SOAR, EDR/XDR, identity, and ITSM platforms.
• Establish secure development practices, CI/CD, testing, and rollback protocols.
• Define evaluation criteria for accuracy, groundedness, and latency.
• Test agents against incomplete or adversarial inputs.
• Implement production safeguards like gates, rate limits, and timeouts.
