Job summary

AppliedAI invites a Senior Security Engineer to design and integrate security controls across cloud-native and AI-powered systems, embedding secure-by-design practices throughout the software lifecycle. You will drive automation of security processes, implement agentic security capabilities, and collaborate across security functions in our Abu Dhabi HQ.

You will assess threats, guide incident response, and support compliance programs (SOC 2, ISO 27001, GDPR).

Qualifications

• 7+ years in information security with hands-on app or infra security.
• Experience securing cloud-native infra and services.
• Proven track record automating security processes.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement security controls across cloud-native and AI-powered systems.
• Lead incident response from detection to remediation and post-incident review.
• Collaborate with engineering to raise security standards within SDLC.
• Support compliance with SOC 2, ISO 27001, GDPR, HIPAA and AI regs.
• Engage in customer security discussions as needed.
