Job summary

Dusit Thani Dubai is seeking an experienced Executive Sous Chef to lead kitchen operations in a luxury hotel setting. You will ensure excellent food quality in line with Dusit policy, develop operation guidelines, supervise equipment and supplies, and uphold sanitation standards.

The role requires strong leadership, menu planning expertise, and a track record of controlling costs to achieve financial targets.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of chef experience in a luxury hotel or top-class restaurant.
• Strong working knowledge in Western and Eastern cuisines.
• Solid understanding of HACCP principles.
• Proven track record of cost control in food, labor and waste.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and ensures excellent quality and standard of food following policy and procedure.
• Under supervision of Executive Sous Chef develops kitchen operation guidelines in assigned outlet.
• Manages and ensures sufficiency of operating equipment and supplies.
• Maintains sanitation standards and a clean, wholesome kitchen environment.
• Offers training to staff and conducts daily briefings for effective communication.
