Job summary

Sunset Hospitality Group’s ISOLA Abu Dhabi is seeking a skilled Head Hostess to join the opening team. You will coordinate the reception desk, lead the hostess team and ensure an efficient, polished arrival and departure experience.

The ideal candidate has 2–3 years of hostess or reception experience in upscale dining and proficiency with reservation systems such as SevenRooms. Strong leadership and fluent English are essential.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of reception or hostess experience, including senior exposure.
• Experience in upscale Italian or premium dining.
• Proficiency with SevenRooms or similar reservation system.
• Strong leadership, organization and guest-engagement skills.
• Fluent in English; additional language is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily reception operations and allocate duties to the hostess team.
• Manage reservations, waitlists, seating plans and table allocation.
• Recognize VIPs, regular guests and special occasions and communicate preferences.
• Maintain accurate guest profiles using SevenRooms or a similar system.
• Coordinate with restaurant management to optimize table flow and turnover.
• Train and support Hostesses in guest-service and grooming standards.
• Handle guest enquiries and feedback professionally.
