Job summary

Wynn Al Marjan Island in the United Arab Emirates is seeking an Assistant Director of Guest Services & Special Events to join the resort’s Event Operations team. The role focuses on delivering exceptional guest experiences during high-profile events and managing cross-department coordination.

You will oversee pre-opening and on-site operations, lead a multicultural team, and collaborate with Marketing, Gaming, and F&B to align service standards with the events calendar.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years’ catering events experience in a 5-star hotel environment.
• Fluent English with excellent verbal and written communication.
• Proven leadership and guest service management capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee guest services during special events with focus on efficiency and cost control.
• Maintain service standards, grooming, and presentation of guest-facing areas.
• Lead VIP hospitality programs and meet‑and‑greet initiatives.
• Monitor guest feedback and drive continuous service improvements.
• Assist in annual planning, budgeting for guest services.
• Ensure health, safety, and brand standards compliance.
