Job summary

Wynn Al Marjan Island in Ras Al Khaimah is seeking a Director of Special Events to lead the Event Operations team as the resort nears opening.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality or related field and at least 5 years in event leadership, with strong budgeting, vendor management, and cross‑functional collaboration skills. On-site UAE work with a focus on premium guest experiences and ROI-driven events.

Qualifications

• The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Event Management or a related field and at least 5 years of leadership experience in events.
• Strong budgeting, planning and organizational skills are essential for pre-opening and ongoing operations.
• Experience leading cross‑functional teams and managing relationships with luxury brand partners.

Responsibilities

• Establish department processes for budgeting, event orders, and hotel logistics.
• Oversee all aspects of special events operations within budget and timelines.
• Develop and enforce policies, procedures, and event planning guides.
• Lead pre-opening planning, vendor relationships, and ROI reporting.
• Manage ticketing, sponsorships, and VIP guest experiences.
• Coordinate with Marketing, F&B, and other departments to align event objectives.
