Job summary

voco Dubai, part of IHG Hotels & Resorts, is seeking a guest services host focused on telephone operations and guest support. The role requires 1–2 years of related experience in a 4* or 5* Dubai hotel and familiarity with Opera PMS.

Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential to deliver True Hospitality in a fast-paced environment. You will manage the switchboard, provide information, log requests, and ensure a smooth guest experience while maintaining confidentiality and high

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of progressive work-related experience in the same role in a 4* or 5* city hotel in Dubai.
• Familiar with Opera PMS.
• Knowledge of centralized telephone systems.
• Skills in operating telephone equipment.
• Ability to deal diplomatically with guests under stress.
• Knowledge of personal computers and updating databases; ability to work under deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Answer telephone calls promptly in a clear, friendly, and courteous tone.
• Provide information about hotel facilities, hours, and services to guests.
• Input and retrieve messages; dispatch through HotSOS for guest requests.
• Maintain information confidentiality and accurate record-keeping.
• Take wake-up calls and ensure timely delivery of information to guests.
• Resolve issues like missed wake-up calls or messages with good judgment.
