Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in hospitality.
• Accessible to beginners, with on-the-job training.

• Knowledge of the hospitality sector.
• 1–2 years’ experience in customer service/front desk/telephone operator roles.
• Opera v5/Opera Cloud knowledge.
• Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Maintain knowledge of hotel facilities, services and standards.
• Serve as a reliable information source for guests.
• Handle reservations and ensure accuracy in the system.
• Provide timely feedback to support smooth operations.
• Anticipate guest needs and deliver personalized service.
• Code repeat/loyal guests in the reservation system.
• Explain policies on guarantees, payments, and cancellations.
• Upsell hotel outlets and facilities when appropriate.
• Coordinate with departments for VIP bookings and special requests.
• Input reservation details accurately into OPERA and issue confirmations.
