Job summary

Sofitel Al Hamra Beach Resort in Ras Al Khaimah, United Arab Emirates, invites an enthusiastic Intern - Guest Relations to join the team. You will be the first point of contact for guests, delivering exceptional service while gaining hands-on experience in hospitality.

Responsibilities include greeting guests, addressing inquiries, maintaining records, coordinating with departments, and supporting event arrangements.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication in English required.
• Strong interpersonal and customer-service orientation.
• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in records.
• Problem-solving mindset for guest concerns.
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced team environment.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities.
• Hospitality or guest-service experience preferred.
• Arabic language skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests with a friendly, professional demeanor.
• Answer inquiries and assist with requests, providing accurate information about facilities and local attractions.
• Maintain accurate guest records and ensure confidentiality.
• Coordinate with departments to fulfill guest requests and resolve issues.
• Assist with event coordination and special guest arrangements.
• Support senior guest relations staff during peak periods.
• Follow up with guests after stays to gather feedback and ensure satisfaction.
• Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling and communications.
• Contribute to a welcoming atmosphere reflecting exceptional guest experiences.
