Job summary

Fairmont Dubai invites applications for a Guest Service Associate to greet guests, assist with luggage, provide directions and welcome visitors with authentic local greetings.

You will engage with guests, escort to relevant desks, enroll members, and support the Front Office team in a fast-paced luxury environment. Strong communication and grooming are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Must possess outstanding guest services skills and professional presentation.
• Impeccable grooming and sophisticated communication are essential.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced, changing environment while remaining calm.

Responsibilities

• Greet every Guest that walks in and out of the Hotel through the main entrance revolving doors
• Make our Guests and Visitors feel warm and welcome
• Assist Guests with luggage
• Assist Guests with directions to the Front Desk or other areas
• Welcome Guests using authentically local greetings
• Engage in conversation with first-time visitors, show them the lobby and surroundings
• Assist the Doorman as necessary
• Recognize FPC Guests, welcome them back, and escort them to the FPC Desk for check-in
• Offer to enroll Guests who are not currently FPC members
• Additional duties, as assigned by the FPC Manager or the Front Office Manager

• Must be able to handle a multitude of tasks in an intense, ever-changing environment while remaining calm and collected.
• Must be flexible in terms of working hours
• Previous experience in customer service is an asset
• Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities
• Highly responsible & reliable
• Ability to work cohesively as part of a team.
