Job summary

Accor is seeking a Laundry Attendant – Valet at Rixos Premium Saadiyat Island in Abu Dhabi to manage guest laundry with care and efficiency. You will collect, inspect, record, and return items while maintaining high standards of service and confidentiality.

Ideal candidates have hotel laundry experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to work shifts, including holidays. English proficiency is required, additional languages are a plus.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a hotel laundry department or a similar role is an advantage.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to handle guest garments with care and professionalism.
• Ability to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
• Good command of English; additional languages are an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Collect guest laundry and dry-cleaning items from guest rooms as requested.
• Check garments for stains, damage, and discrepancies before processing.
• Verify laundry lists and ensure accurate recording of all items.
• Deliver clean and pressed garments to guest rooms promptly.
• Coordinate with the Laundry Department to ensure timely processing and delivery.
• Handle guest garments carefully and maintain confidentiality of guest belongings.
• Respond politely to guest inquiries and communicate any delays or special requests.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry valet area.
• Follow hotel policies, hygiene standards, and health and safety procedures.
