Job summary

Rixos Premium Saadiyat Island seeks a Laundry Attendant – Valet to collect, check, and return guest laundry and dry-cleaning items while upholding hotel standards and guest service. You will ensure timely processing and secure handling of garments.

Experience in hotel laundry is a plus; strong English communication and a proactive attitude are required. This role supports the housekeeping team in delivering premium hospitality at our Abu Dhabi property.

Qualifications

• Previous hotel laundry experience is advantageous.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to handle guest garments with care and professionalism.
• Ability to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
• Good command of English; additional languages are an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Collect guest laundry and dry-cleaning items from guest rooms as requested.
• Check garments for stains, damage, and discrepancies before processing.
• Verify laundry lists and ensure accurate recording of all items.
• Deliver clean and pressed garments to guest rooms promptly.
• Coordinate with the Laundry Department to ensure timely processing and delivery.
• Handle guest garments carefully and maintain confidentiality of guest belongings.
• Respond politely to guest inquiries and communicate any delays or special requests.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry valet area.
• Follow hotel policies, hygiene standards, and health and safety procedures.
