Job summary

Aloft Hotels in Dubai seeks a Full-Time Front Desk/Guest Services Associate to welcome guests, verify identity, process payments, assign rooms, and issue keys with accuracy. You will balance cashier duties, prepare daily reports, assist guests with directions, and respond to requests while upholding service standards.

A high school diploma and at least 1 year of hospitality experience are preferred; supervisory exposure is a plus.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• Related Work Experience: At least 1 year of related work experience.
• Supervisory Experience: At least 1 year of supervisory experience.
• License or Certification: None

Responsibilities

• Process guest check-ins, verifying identity, form of payment, assigning room, and issuing room key.
• Enter Marriott Rewards information and ensure rates match market codes; secure payment prior to issuing room key.
• Compile and review daily reports/logs/contingency lists; balance and drop receipts; complete cashier and closing reports.
• Assist management in training, evaluating, counseling, motivating and coaching employees; serve as role model and champion of service standards.
• Welcome and acknowledge guests; provide directions and assist with requests; maintain confidentiality of guest information.
