Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in hospitality or vocational food & beverage training.
• Good command of English; guest service and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Experience as a waiter/waitress in a high-volume restaurant preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional service to guests and ensure a memorable dining experience.
• Greet, seat and assist guests in a discreet and personalized manner.
• Acquire knowledge of the menu to offer informed recommendations.
• Monitor and maintain quality of food and beverages served.
• Handle guest complaints/queries politely and effectively.
• Maintain hygiene and cleanliness of outlet and service equipment.
• Prepare mise-en-place and support service before, during and after service.
• Minimize wastage, breakage and spoilage; upsell to guests.
