Job summary

NH Collection Dubai The Palm is seeking a warm Hostess to join our Food & Beverage team. You will be the first point of contact for guests, creating a positive first impression and ensuring a smooth dining experience.

As a Hostess, you’ll manage reservations, greet guests, escort them to tables, and coordinate with the service team to maintain exceptional standards. Fluency in English is essential, additional languages are a plus.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a restaurant, hotel, or hospitality environment.
• Warm, confident, and outgoing personality with a passion for guest service.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good command of written and spoken English; additional languages are an advantage.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to remain professional and composed during busy periods.
• Well-groomed with a professional appearance.
• Flexible to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and greet guests in a warm, friendly, and professional manner.
• Manage restaurant reservations, guest arrivals, and seating arrangements efficiently.
• Escort guests to tables and present menus when required.
• Maintain accurate knowledge of outlet operating hours, menus, promotions, and hotel facilities.
• Monitor table availability and coordinate closely with the service team to ensure smooth seating flow.
• Answer telephone inquiries and handle reservation requests professionally.
• Recognize returning guests and special occasions and communicate relevant information to the team.
• Assist with guest requests, feedback, and concerns and elevate when necessary.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional reception and entrance area.
• Coordinate effectively with the Restaurant Manager, Supervisors, Kitchen, and service team.
• Follow hotel grooming, hygiene, health and safety, and service standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Outlet Management team.
