Job summary

Hilton Dubai Palm Jumeirah is seeking a Receptionist to deliver an exceptional guest experience from check-in to checkout, maintaining accuracy and efficiency at the front desk. The role requires a customer-focused mindset, high school completion, excellent grooming, and strong communication skills.

You will work closely with team members and may handle cash and foreign currencies in line with hotel policy. A positive attitude and professional appearance are essential to succeed in this role.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a customer-focused industry is preferred.
• Positive attitude and good communication skills are essential.
• Commitment to delivering a high level of customer service.

Responsibilities

• Achieve positive outcomes from Guest queries in a timely and efficient manner
• Ensure an efficient reception experience for Guests including check in/out and complete audit procedures as required
• Ensure that Front Office Manager and Reception Supervisors are kept informed of guest feedback
• Demonstrate a high level of customer service at all times
• Attend training courses and assist Night Teams' training and development
• Demonstrate knowledge of hotel room categories, rates, packages and promotions
• Maximize room occupancy and use upselling techniques to promote hotel services
• Use correct procedures regarding foreign currencies, credit cards, and cash per hotel policy
• Comply with hotel security, fire regulations and health and safety legislation
• Follow policies when working with front of house equipment and property management systems
• Follow company brand standards
• Assist other departments as necessary
