Job summary

Mercure Abu Dhabi Downtown is seeking a friendly Bellman to ensure timely luggage delivery and a warm welcome for guests. You will professionally orient guests to their rooms, remain present in the lobby as an ambassador of the property and brand, and deliver exceptional service in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of experience in a similar role, a hospitality background, and fluent English; additional languages are a plus.

Qualifications

• Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times.
• At least 1 year experience working on a similar role.
• Hospitality background is preferred.
• Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Timely delivery of guests’ luggage, messages and any other items for delivery within the property.
• Personalize guests’ orientation of their room in a professional, friendly and engaging way.
• Maintain presence in the lobby as an ambassador of the property and brand, offering exceptional service to the guests.
• Service focused personality is essential; customer related experience an asset.
