Job summary

Desert Islands Resort & Spa by Anantara in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Bellman to warmly greet guests, assist with luggage, and guide guests to rooms with information on facilities and local attractions. The role requires a friendly, service-oriented mindset and the ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Fluency in English is essential, with additional languages considered a plus. You will collaborate with Front Office, Concierge, and Housekeeping to ensure seamless guest

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Bellman or in a guest-facing hotel role is preferred.
• Fluent in English; additional languages are an advantage.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Physically fit and able to handle guest luggage safely.
• Flexible to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
• Good knowledge of Dubai and local attractions is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Warmly welcome and greet guests upon arrival and departure.
• Assist guests with luggage during check-in, check-out, and room changes.
• Escort guests to their rooms and provide basic information about hotel facilities and services.
• Handle and store guest luggage safely and accurately.
• Assist with arranging taxis and transportation when required.
• Deliver guest items, messages, parcels, and other requested materials promptly.
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the hotel entrance, lobby, and luggage storage areas.
• Provide guests with information about hotel facilities, restaurants, local attractions, and transportation.
• Coordinate closely with Front Office, Concierge, Housekeeping, and other departments to fulfil guest requests.
• Handle guest requests and concerns courteously and elevate issues when necessary.
• Maintain professional grooming, appearance, and behaviour at all times.
• Follow hotel safety, security, and guest confidentiality procedures.
• Support the Front Office team in creating memorable and personalized guest experiences.
