Job summary

KONE is seeking a Business Development Specialist for the Modernization Business to be based in its Dubai office. The role focuses on identifying new opportunities and managing complex development projects across KMTA while engaging with developers, building owners, and government entities in the UAE.

The ideal candidate has a minimum of 5 years in business development, robust networking skills, and fluency in Arabic and English to support infrastructure and PPP projects, as well as knowledge of

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is required.
• Knowledge of modernization scopes and elevator safety codes (e.g., EN 81-80) and UAE authority requirements.
• Established network with UAE developers, building owners, FM companies, and government entities.
• Fluent in Arabic and English.
• Minimum 5 years of proven track record in business development.
• Ability to assess costs, business principles, and risk management.
• Experience in qualifying, structuring, and negotiating with business partners.

Responsibilities

• Finds new business opportunities to position KONE in the UAE market.
• Manages complex business development projects and PPP/infrastructure initiatives.
• Supports cross-BL implementation of growth opportunities such as APF.
• Drives turnarounds of low business performance in defined areas.
• Maintains a strong network with external and internal stakeholders.
• Leverages external partners to shape KONE business and operations.
