Job summary

QatarYello in Dubai seeks a skilled governance professional to support boards and committees, maintain governance frameworks, and provide accurate reporting.

You will coordinate meetings, draft minutes, manage compliance documentation, and liaise with stakeholders across jurisdictions to drive governance excellence and risk mitigation.

This role requires 5–8 years in governance-related roles, a law or governance degree, and strong English writing.

Qualifications

• 5-8 years of experience within corporate governance, company secretarial, legal operations, paralegal, or governance-focused compliance functions.
• Bachelor's degree in Law or a Governance, Compliance, or related discipline.
• Proven experience supporting boards, committees, executive stakeholders, and governance reporting processes.
• Strong documentation, policy review, drafting, and minute-taking skills with exceptional written English.
• Resilient, organised, and confident engaging with senior stakeholders in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
• Demonstrated ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, evolving environment, using strong stakeholder management skills to drive accountability and deliver outcomes with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate board and committee meetings, including agenda preparation, minute-taking, action tracking, and follow-up activities
• Maintain and enhance corporate governance frameworks, policies, and procedures to support business objectives
• Prepare governance reports and management information for internal stakeholders and governance committees
• Monitor compliance with governance processes, ensuring documentation, approvals, and records remain accurate and complete
• Support governance-related due diligence and KYC activities while liaising with stakeholders across multiple jurisdictions
• Collaborate with legal, compliance, finance, and commercial teams to ensure governance requirements are embedded within transaction approval processes, committee activities, and key corporate initiatives.
