PayerMax, a global payment company focused on emerging markets, seeks a Risk Control Manager in the UAE to safeguard its cross-border payment operations and ensure regulatory compliance while driving risk strategies.

You will lead risk frameworks, collaborate with Product, R&D and Compliance, handle disputes and fraud analytics, and work with acquirers and networks to deliver tailored risk controls.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in risk management with foreign card acquiring.
• Deep knowledge of cross-border payment risks, fraud patterns and chargeback management.
• Experience designing merchant risk solutions (dynamic scoring, KYC enhancements).
• Familiarity with PCI DSS, AML regulations and card schemes.
• Strong English and Mandarin communication with APAC/global teams.

• Risk management optimization to align with regulations and objectives.
• Lead risk control policies and evaluation mechanisms.
• Collaborate with Product, R&D, Compliance to deploy risk solutions.
• Oversee dispute resolution, chargebacks and fraud case analysis.
