Job summary

PayerMax is seeking a Risk Control Manager to safeguard its global payment operations with a focus on foreign card acquiring. The role requires strong risk management experience and knowledge of PCI DSS and AML regulations.

You will collaborate with APAC/global teams to implement merchant risk solutions and ensure regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate will communicate effectively in English and Mandarin, and work with cross-functional teams across regions to protect payment ecosystems and

Qualifications

5+ years of risk management experience.
Deep knowledge of cross-border payment risks, fraud patterns and chargeback management.
Familiarity with PCI DSS, AML regulations and card scheme rules.

Responsibilities

Continuously refine risk management frameworks to align with regulations and business objectives.
Lead risk control policies and communicate measures to business teams; establish evaluation mechanisms.
Collaborate with Product, R&D, Compliance to deploy risk solutions and ensure end-to-end risk prevention and control.
Oversee dispute resolution, chargeback handling and fraud case analysis; refine strategies from data insights.
Act as primary contact for acquirers, card networks, and partners on risk issues.
Develop merchant-facing risk solutions; design and deliver tailored risk control strategies.
