Job summary

Johnson Controls in Dubai seeks an orderly and proactive operations professional to manage orders end-to-end, oversee backlog, coordinate shipments, and ensure timely revenue recognition. You will work with Sales, Planning, and logistics partners to maintain smooth order flow and delivery performance.

The role emphasizes proactive risk spotting, cross-functional teamwork, and data-driven decision making, using ERP systems and Power BI to support revenue goals.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience in order management, supply chain, logistics, or similar role.
• Knowledge of international shipping, Incoterms, and export/import processes.
• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, JDE (JD Edwards) or similar.
• Strong Excel and analytical skills for revenue, backlog, and shipment data.
• Clear communication and stakeholder management across Sales, Collections, factories, and logistics teams.

Responsibilities

• Drive revenue targets through efficient order execution and backlog management.
• Prioritize open orders based on revenue impact and delivery requirements.
• Monitor backlogs and at-risk orders to identify delays early.
• Coordinate with factories, planning, logistics providers, and freight forwarders for outbound shipments.
• Track shipment progress, export docs, and related issues to completion.
• Identify and escalate order, credit, and payment issues affecting shipment release or revenue.
• Collaborate with Sales, Collections, and other stakeholders to remove blockers and support recovery plans.
• Maintain revenue, backlog, shipment, and supply chain reports for business visibility.
