Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required.
• More than 2 years of experience in ocean freight or supervisor role preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, and customer-service mindset required.

Responsibilities

• Lead Ocean Freight Specialists to execute operational activities in line with standard procedures and compliance.
• Drive GP maximization and productivity while maintaining service quality.
• Develop relationships with clients, visit customers regularly, and pursue upsell opportunities.
• Ensure regulatory procedures for commodity and locations are followed for shipments.
• Monitor operations and customer feedback to identify and implement efficiency improvements.
• Act as first point of contact for customers or network issues and escalate as needed.
• Conduct regular performance dialogs and drive a safe, motivating team culture.
• Support the achievement of ocean freight productivity targets and adhere to global standard processes.
