Job summary

Priority Worldwide in Dubai is seeking an experienced Freight Forwarding Operations Specialist to manage air and ocean shipments end-to-end, from booking and documentation through customs clearance and delivery. You will coordinate with airlines, steamship lines, and UAE Customs, produce accurate shipment records in CargoWise, and maintain the Ultimate Customer Experience across our Dubai team.

Qualifications

5+ years of hands-on freight forwarding experience in the UAE.
Strong air and ocean import/export operations experience.
UAE Customs clearance experience including Mirsal II/Dubai Trade.
Hands-on CargoWise experience.
Knowledge of international freight forwarding processes and shipment lifecycle.

Responsibilities

Manage air/ocean import and export shipments from instruction receipt to delivery completion.
Coordinate bookings with airlines, steamship lines, and agents.
Prepare and review import/export documentation for compliance.
Maintain accurate shipment records and milestones in CargoWise.
Proactively monitor shipments and resolve delays or issues.
Coordinate movement with customers, carriers, and vendors.
Obtain and negotiate air/ocean freight rates and prepare quotes.
Communicate shipment status and issues to customers and teams.
Ensure compliance with UAE Customs requirements and procedures.
Handle dangerous goods and perishable shipments per regulations.
Support Dubai office operations and customer service.
