Job summary

REDA Chemicals in Dubai is seeking a Logistics Officer to manage export, import, and cross-trade shipments from origin to final destination. You will coordinate with suppliers, freight forwarders, shipping lines, customs brokers, and internal teams to ensure timely delivery and accurate documentation.

The role requires 3–5 years of experience, a Bachelor's degree in Logistics or SCM, strong English, and proficiency with ERP systems and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, SCM, or related field.
• 3–5 years of export, import, and cross-trade operations.
• Knowledge of export documentation requirements for Middle Eastern and African countries.
• Ability to coordinate country-specific shipping, customs, and trade documentation requirements.
• Experience in international freight forwarding and shipping documentation preferred.
• Excellent written and spoken English; strong ERP and MS Office skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage export, import, and cross-trade shipments from origin to final destination.
• Coordinate with suppliers, freight forwarders, shipping lines, and customs brokers.
• Monitor shipment status and provide timely updates to stakeholders.
• Prepare, review, and verify shipping and export documentation.
• Ensure compliance with international trade regulations, customs requirements, and company policies.
• Coordinate shipment bookings with freight forwarders and carriers.
• Update and maintain shipment details and records in the ERP system.
• Resolve documentation, shipping-delay, and customs-clearance issues.
• Support sales and business teams with shipment updates and logistics coordination.
• Prepare periodic logistics reports for management review.
