Job summary

Wilhelmsen is seeking an IT Coordinator AMB & APAC to provide 2nd line IT support onsite in the UAE and remote assistance across Bahrain, Egypt, and other regions. You will handle applications, network and server management, and IT governance, working with cross-regional teams to drive improvements.

The role requires a 5+ year IT support background, ITIL certification, and the ability to work independently while collaborating with stakeholders.

Qualifications

Fluent English both written and spoken.
University-level degree in IT, Business Administration, or equivalent.
At least 5 years in IT support with strong 2nd Line experience.
ITIL certification; experience in network, hardware, and software troubleshooting.
Independent, reliable, and able to lead technical projects cross-functionally.
Eligible to work in UAE; visa permitting where required.

Responsibilities

Provide 2nd Line IT support on-site in UAE and remote support across Africa, the Middle East and the Black Sea region.
Deliver support for applications, network, server management, and IT governance.
Coordinate with local vendors; manage needs and renewal cycles; report to stakeholders.
Identify training needs and deliver online and in-person training with IT Manager and cross-regional teams.
Ensure incidents/requests are logged in the global ticketing system in line with GSM guidelines.
Advise on IT investment budgets and provide accurate reporting.
