Job summary

Etihad Airways is seeking an HR Policy Manager to design, govern, and drive compliant HR policy across our global operation. You will balance employment law, HR strategy, and business change, drafting policies and templates that work across jurisdictions and leading the change needed to embed new ways of working.

The role suits either an employment lawyer transitioning to advisory or a policy-minded HR professional with strong drafting and analytical experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in law, Human Resources, or a related discipline.
• 5-8+ years in employment law, HR policy, or benefits from either a legal or senior HR background.
• At least 3 years' experience within a large multinational organization with complex matrix reporting.
• Strong drafting and writing skills for policies, contracts, and employee-facing documentation.

Responsibilities

• Design, draft, and maintain HR policies, contract templates, and employee handbook content across multiple countries, working closely with Legal on amendments.
• Stay abreast of employment law requirements market by market and ensure policy stays compliant as regulations shift.
• Govern policy and template library end-to-end version control, consistency, and rollout across all countries we operate in.
• Partner with Payroll, HR Business Partners, Legal and the business on change management for the implementation of changes and the delivery of HR briefings.
• Ongoing policy evaluation, monitoring and reporting, including tracking policy effectiveness, analysing HR data, gathering employee and stakeholder feedback.
• Recommending improvements to enhance engagement and operational efficiency based on available data, emerging workplace trends and best practice in the market.
