Job summary

Etihad Airways in Abu Dhabi is seeking an HR Policy Manager to own design, governance and compliance of HR policy across our global operation. You'll balance employment law, HR strategy and business change, drafting policies and templates, and driving change management.

The role suits either an employment lawyer moving into advisory or a policy-focused HR professional with strong drafting and analytical skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in law, HR or related discipline.
• 5-8+ years in employment law, HR policy, or related fields.
• Experience in a large multinational with complex matrix reporting.
• Strong drafting for policies, contracts and employee docs.
• Analytical mindset with data-driven policy evaluation.
• Proactive problem-solver with minimal instruction.
• Experience with AI tools for drafting and editing.

Responsibilities

• Design, draft, and maintain HR policies, templates, and handbook content across countries.
• Stay updated on market-specific employment law requirements and ensure compliance.
• Govern policy library with end-to-end version control and rollout.
• Partner with Payroll, HRBPs, Legal on change management and briefings.
• Monitor policy effectiveness and analyze HR data with stakeholder feedback.
• Recommend improvements to boost engagement and operational efficiency.
