Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in management, banking or finance, preferably with a compliance certification
• 10+ years in financial services compliance
• At least 6 years in a compliance surveillance/monitoring role
• Strong knowledge of market abuse rules and related regulations
• Experience with automated surveillance tools and international regulations

Responsibilities

• Act as a trusted adviser on regulatory compliance for Global Markets and Global Corporate Finance
• Lead the Compliance Surveillance team and governance of surveillance controls
• Collaborate with international country Compliance teams across locations
• Develop and maintain a comprehensive Annual Compliance Plan and risk assessment
• Provide training and guidance on surveillance themes and regulatory changes
• Oversee issue management, regulatory requests, and management action plans
• Engage with regulators and exchanges to support examinations and inquiries
• Lead on projects expanding surveillance across business areas
