Job summary

First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB) in Abu Dhabi seeks an experienced Compliance Advisor to provide oversight and challenge to Global Markets and Global Corporate Finance, while leading the Compliance Surveillance team. The role collaborates with country Compliance teams and regulators to uphold robust controls and a solid compliance culture.

You will lead AVPs and specialists, drive the annual compliance plan, and work with international stakeholders to manage regulatory findings and implementations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in management, banking, finance, or related field.
• 10+ years in financial services compliance.
• At least 6 years in compliance surveillance/monitoring.
• Deep knowledge of market abuse rules and automated surveillance tools.

Responsibilities

• Provide compliance oversight and challenge to Global Markets and Global Corporate Finance.
• Lead and oversee the Compliance Surveillance team and expand to other areas.
• Governance in meetings and relevant operational forums; issue management.
• Develop policies, procedures, and regulatory project delivery with stakeholders.
• Oversee Annual Compliance Plan and conduct risk assessments.
• Collaborate with international country Compliance teams and regulators.
