Job summary

Aquarius Worldwide in Dubai seeks an experienced Sales Engineer for the glass industry to drive sales of glazing products and related materials. You will build long-term customer relationships, understand technical requirements, and prepare quotations and commercial offers.

The role requires strong knowledge of glass and glazing solutions, excellent client communication, and coordination with production and project teams to ensure accurate pricing and specifications.

Qualifications

• Experience in the glass and glazing industry.
• Ability to interpret technical requirements and propose appropriate products.
• Experience in preparing quotations and proposals.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with glass fabricators, contractors, interior contractors, façade companies, architects, consultants, and project clients.
• Identify new business opportunities and generate sales leads within the glass and glazing industry.
• Promote and sell glass products, glazing systems, glass hardware, fittings, accessories, and related materials/components.
• Understand client and project requirements and recommend suitable glass and glazing solutions.
• Prepare quotations, technical proposals, product presentations, and commercial offers.
• Coordinate with the technical, production, estimation, and project teams to ensure accurate product specifications and pricing.
• Conduct client visits, product presentations, and technical discussions.
• Follow up on enquiries, quotations, negotiations, and ongoing projects to achieve sales targets.
• Develop new accounts and maintain strong relationships with existing customers.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, pricing, and new products in the glass industry.
• Coordinate with suppliers and manufacturers regarding product availability, specifications, pricing, and delivery schedules.
• Maintain accurate records of leads, enquiries, quotations, orders, and sales activities.
• Ensure timely follow-up from enquiry through order confirmation and project completion.
• Achieve assigned sales targets and business development objectives
