Sunset Hospitality Group seeks a highly commercial General Manager for premium nightlife or lifestyle dining venues. The role centers on pre-opening readiness, building operations from the ground up, and driving commercial performance across guest experience, entertainment and F&B.

You will lead a multicultural team, manage P&L, budgeting and forecast, and ensure successful launch readiness and ongoing profitability across international venues.

We are seeking a highly commercial and dynamic General Manager with a strong track record in premium nightlife or lifestyle dining. The ideal candidate will bring solid pre-opening experience, with the ability to build an operation from the ground up, drive commercial performance, and successfully lead the venue through opening and beyond.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the overall operations and commercial performance of the venue, ensuring exceptional standards across guest experience, service, entertainment and F&B.
• Take full ownership of the venue’s P&L, budgeting, forecasting, revenue generation and cost management, identifying opportunities to maximize profitability.
• For new openings, lead pre-opening operational readiness, including recruitment, team structure, SOP implementation, OS&E coordination, training and launch preparation.
• Develop and execute strategies to drive footfall, average spend, repeat business and overall revenue performance.
• Work closely with Marketing, Entertainment, Culinary and Beverage teams to develop activations, events and experiences that strengthen the venue’s positioning and commercial performance.
• Build, lead and develop a high-performing multicultural team, ensuring strong engagement, accountability and succession planning.
• Maintain a strong presence on the floor, ensuring consistently high standards of service, guest engagement and VIP experience.
• Build and maintain relationships with VIP guests, regular clientele, partners and key stakeholders to strengthen guest loyalty and brand reputation.
• Monitor operational and financial KPIs, analyze performance trends and implement corrective actions and improvement initiatives where required.
• Ensure full compliance with company standards, licensing requirements, health & safety regulations and all applicable operational policies.

Ideal Candidate:

• Proven experience as a General Manager within premium nightlife, lifestyle dining, or entertainment-led upscale dining concepts, with previous international experience considered an added advantage.
• Strong pre-opening experience, from operational planning and recruitment through to opening readiness and launch.
• Strong commercial acumen with hands-on experience in P&L, budgeting, forecasting, cost control and revenue optimization.
• Proven ability to drive revenue, guest spend and overall venue performance.
• Strong understanding of guest experience, VIP clientele and high-energy lifestyle operations.
• Experience building, developing and leading large, multicultural teams.
• Ability to collaborate closely with Marketing, Entertainment, Culinary, Beverage and other key functions.
• Strong operational, organizational and stakeholder management skills.
