Job summary

Dyarco for Operations Services is seeking a landscaping assistant to perform daily grounds maintenance and planting tasks at client sites in Dubai. You will follow supervisor instructions to keep gardens neat, healthy, and presentable for guests.

The role involves planting, pruning, irrigation, and weed control, with emphasis on safety, PPE usage, and teamwork across site teams. Training opportunities may be available.

Qualifications

• Experience in landscaping, gardening, horticulture, or outdoor maintenance is preferred.
• Basic landscaping experience is an advantage.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Relevant training or certification is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily landscaping and garden maintenance as assigned by supervisor.
• Plant, transplant, and maintain trees, shrubs, flowers, grass, and other plants.
• Water and irrigate; report irrigation issues to supervisor.
• Remove weeds and debris; maintain flower beds and lawns.
• Prune, trim, edge, and shape plants and grass.
• Maintain landscaped zones and pathways.
• Apply fertilizers and soil conditioners as instructed.
• Assist with soil prep, planting, and replanting.

Job description

• Perform daily landscaping and garden maintenance activities as assigned by the supervisor.
• Plant, transplant, and maintain trees, shrubs, flowers, grass, and other plants.
• Carry out watering and irrigation activities and report any irrigation issues to the supervisor.
• Remove weeds, dry leaves, unwanted vegetation, and other garden debris.
• Perform pruning, trimming, cutting, edging, and shaping of plants and grass.
• Maintain flower beds, lawns, planted areas, pathways, and other assigned landscape zones.
• Apply fertilizers, soil conditioners, and other approved materials as instructed.
• Assist with soil preparation, planting, replanting, and landscaping works.
• Use landscaping tools and equipment safely and correctly.
• Keep tools, equipment, and work areas clean and properly maintained.
• Report damaged plants, irrigation problems, pest infestations, broken equipment, and other site issues to the supervisor.
• Follow daily work schedules, checklists, and instructions provided by the supervisor.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation, particularly in guest-facing areas.
• Complete assigned zones and tasks within the required timeframe.
• Follow all company, client, health, safety, and environmental procedures.
• Wear the required company uniform and PPE while on duty.
• Maintain professional behavior when working at client sites.
• Cooperate with supervisors, engineers, colleagues, and other site teams.
• Assist other landscaping team members when required.
• Take photographs or provide updates of completed work when requested by the supervisor.
• Perform any other landscaping-related duties assigned by management.
