Role Description

The Gardener role is a full-time, on-site position based in Abu Dhabi. The Gardener is responsible for maintaining outdoor landscapes, gardens, and green areas within client facilities, ensuring they are healthy, attractive, and safe. Daily tasks include planting, pruning, mowing, watering, fertilizing, and removing weeds, pests, and debris. The role also involves operating gardening equipment, monitoring irrigation systems, and supporting basic landscape design and improvement projects. The Gardener works closely with the facilities team to meet client standards, follow safety procedures, and support sustainable landscaping practices.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform Landscape Maintenance tasks, including routine care of lawns, shrubs, and trees.
• Strong Gardening skills, with experience in planting, pruning, fertilizing, and pest control.
• Knowledge of Landscaping and Garden Design principles to support layout and aesthetic improvements.
• Experience with Irrigation systems, including operation, monitoring, and basic troubleshooting.
• Basic understanding of horticulture and plant care suited to UAE climate conditions.
• Ability to work outdoors for extended periods and handle physical tasks such as lifting and bending.
• Attention to detail, reliability, and commitment to safety and cleanliness on-site.
• Previous experience in gardening, landscaping, or facilities management is preferred.
