Job summary

ORIENT IRRIGATION SERVICES (L.L.C) is seeking a Project Manager to oversee landscaping maintenance projects in the United Arab Emirates. You will coordinate with clients, suppliers and internal teams to achieve project objectives and ensure delivery within budget and required quality standards.

The role covers planning, execution, stakeholder management, team supervision and strict adherence to HSE and quality controls across diverse sites including urban parks, residential areas and commercial

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Horticulture, Landscaping or relevant field.
• PMP would be an added advantage.
• 8-10 years relevant work experience.
• Driving license is a must.
• Strong project management skills and experience with large-scale projects.
• Knowledge of sustainable practices.
• Experience working with a diverse range of projects including urban parks, residential areas, and commercial spaces.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed maintenance schedules and plans in coordination with the Operations Manager.
• Oversee day-to-day maintenance operations including irrigation systems, softscape, pest control and routine upkeep.
• Monitor maintenance activities to ensure compliance with contractual obligations and quality standards.
• Implement preventive maintenance programs to prolong landscape lifespan.
• Identify and address operational issues, taking corrective actions to avoid service disruptions.
• Coordinate with NOC Engineer to obtain government approval.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients regarding maintenance matters.
• Conduct regular client meetings and site visits to ensure client satisfaction.
• Address client concerns and service requests promptly.
• Prepare and present periodic progress reports to clients and management.
• Supervise site supervisors, foremen and maintenance crews.
• Assign tasks, monitor performance and ensure adherence to maintenance schedules.
• Provide on-the-job training and guidance to team members.
• Promote a culture of safety, teamwork and continuous improvement.
• Implement quality control procedures for all maintenance activities.
• Conduct regular inspections to assess the quality of service delivery.
• Ensure compliance with HSE regulations and company policies.
• Address non-conformances and initiate corrective actions.
• Manage manpower allocation and ensure optimal resource utilisation.
• Coordinate with procurement teams for timely delivery of maintenance materials and tools.
• Monitor inventory levels and request replenishments as needed.
• Maintain comprehensive maintenance logs and daily reports.
• Prepare and submit periodic operational reports to the Operations Manager.
• Document all client correspondence, service requests and corrective actions.
