Job summary

Flynn and Chase is building a new venture platform in Dubai. A Fund Accountant is sought to manage accounting, NAVs, LP reporting and investor communications for a first-time fund. You will coordinate with an outsourced administrator, oversee capital calls, distributions and carry calculations, and ensure strict KYC/AML compliance.

The role requires 3–5 years in fund administration, deep attention to detail, and experience with multi-LP reporting. UAE/GCC experience is a plus; Arabic is a bonus.

Qualifications

• Three to five years in fund administration or fund accounting, in-house or service side.
• Experience servicing multiple limited partners with bespoke reporting and deadlines.
• Venture capital or private equity fund exposure essential; closed-end structures required.
• Cap calls, distributions, waterfalls, carried interest and LP capital accounts experience.
• Calm under reporting deadlines and credible in dialogue with investors and auditors.

Responsibilities

• Fund accounting and administration for the fund and ManCo entities, working with the outsourced administrator.
• Capital calls, drawdowns, distributions and all investor notices, end to end.
• Quarterly and annual NAV preparation with valuation input for portfolio holdings.
• LP reporting packs, capital account statements and investor queries handling for multi-LP base.
• Management fee, expense allocation, waterfall and carried interest calculations.
• Investor onboarding, KYC/AML, and regulatory filings in the relevant jurisdiction.
• Audit coordination and statutory financial statements preparation.
• Treasury, banking, payments and cash forecasting.
• Support on closings, funds flow and post-completion entity administration.
• Help design and document operating procedures, controls and reporting calendar for a first-time fund.
