Flynn and Chase is seeking a funds accounting professional to act as the operational backbone for two investment vehicles. The role involves running fund accounting, coordinating with an outsourced administrator and ensuring accurate investor reporting.
You will own the NAV process, capital calls, distributions and waterfalls, while maintaining compliance with KYC/AML standards. This is a senior, hands-on role with direct interaction with investors and auditors.
This is one of the region's earliest venture franchises, set up more than ten years ago and still run by the same founding team. It writes seed and Series A cheques into founder-led technology businesses across the Gulf. Capital sits in two separate vehicles - a traditional closed-end fund alongside an evergreen structure that lets the team stay in its best companies indefinitely and re-invest behind founders they already know. The results speak for themselves. Well over a hundred companies backed, several that went on to become billion-dollar businesses, a public listing and close to twenty trade sales. Several of the household-name technology companies in the Middle East today had this firm on the cap table at seed.
The finance function is small and senior. Whoever takes this seat becomes the operational backbone of both vehicles rather than one contributor among many.
Two structures, two sets of mechanics — closed-end and evergreen — which is far broader technical exposure than most roles at this level offer You report into finance leadership directly and sit close to the investment team Regular contact with limited partners, auditors, counsel and the administrator from week one A portfolio with real realisations behind it, so distributions, waterfalls and carry are live work rather than theory Genuine licence to redesign process and reporting infrastructure as the evergreen vehicle grows
