Fatherson International FZE in Dubai is seeking an HVAC BIM Modeler to develop, coordinate, and maintain detailed BIM models for HVAC systems using Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD and Navisworks.

The role involves modeling ductwork, chilled water piping, ventilation equipment, and related services, coordinating with architectural, structural, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection teams to identify clashes and produce shop drawings, coordination drawings, sections, layouts, schedules and installation

Qualifications

• Ability to coordinate HVAC BIM models with multiple disciplines.

Job Description

HVAC BIM Modeler – Professional Description

An HVAC BIM Modeler is responsible for developing, coordinating, and maintaining detailed Building Information Models for HVAC systems using Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, and Navisworks. The role involves creating accurate 3D models for ductwork, chilled water piping, ventilation systems, HVAC equipment, and related services based on engineering and design drawings.

The HVAC BIM Modeler coordinates HVAC systems with architectural, structural, electrical, plumbing, and fire-fighting services to identify and resolve clashes before construction. The position also includes preparing detailed shop drawings, coordination drawings, sections, layouts, schedules, and installation drawings.

The modeler reviews project specifications and consultant drawings, incorporates design changes, updates BIM models based on site requirements, and ensures drawings and models comply with project standards. They also participate in BIM coordination meetings, clash detection, model review, and construction documentation, while supporting engineers and site teams throughout the project lifecycle.
