Job summary

Zohorecruit is seeking a Plumbing BIM Modeler to create, develop and maintain detailed 3D BIM models for plumbing and sanitary systems using Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD and Navisworks. You will collaborate with architectural, structural, HVAC, electrical and fire teams to ensure proper coordination of MEP services and produce shop drawings, coordination drawings, layouts and installation drawings.

Plumbing BIM Modeler – Professional Description

A Plumbing BIM Modeler is responsible for creating, developing, and maintaining detailed 3D BIM models for plumbing and sanitary systems using Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, and Navisworks. The role involves modeling complete plumbing services, including water supply, hot and cold water, drainage, sanitary systems, rainwater, soil and waste piping, and related plumbing equipment.

The Plumbing BIM Modeler works closely with architectural, structural, HVAC, electrical, and fire-fighting teams to ensure proper coordination of all MEP services. Responsibilities include preparing shop drawings, coordination drawings, layouts, sections, pipe routing, sleeves, builder's work drawings, and detailed installation drawings.

The role also includes performing clash detection and resolution, reviewing consultant and engineering drawings, incorporating design changes, and updating BIM models according to site conditions and project requirements. The modeler supports BIM coordination meetings and ensures that plumbing models and drawings comply with project specifications, authority requirements, and industry standards.
