Job summary

Yas Plaza Hotels by IHG in Abu Dhabi seeks an experienced Front Office Manager to oversee guest services and hotel operations, driving revenue and ensuring excellence in service. You will manage room availability, guest arrivals and departures, and coordinate with Housekeeping for smooth room turnover.

The role requires leadership, strong interpersonal skills, and a solid background in front office software, reservations systems, and Office applications.

Qualifications

• Experience in a front office or related hospitality role with leadership and supervisory experience.
• Strong customer service orientation with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficiency in using front office software (PMs), reservations systems, and Microsoft Office applications.
• Solid organizational and multitasking abilities with attention to detail.
• Problem-solving skills and ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
• Knowledge of industry regulations and standards and commitment to high service standards.
• Bachelor's degree in hospitality management and relevant certifications or training.

Responsibilities

• Ensure Guests receive prompt attention and personal recognition throughout their stay, responding to needs and resolving issues.
• Plan and apply availability controls to maximize room, F&B, and other revenues where applicable.
• Maintain a high-performance standard among Guest contact colleagues and ensure courteous service.
• Work with Housekeeping to turn rooms around efficiently and allocate arriving guests appropriately.
• Lead the Front Office team to achieve optimal occupancy and average rate while maximizing revenue.
• Provide management with reports on trends, guest impressions, and operational issues affecting satisfaction.
• Ensure colleagues are conversant with facilities, services, and room configurations.
