Job summary

Hyatt Centric Jumeirah Dubai is seeking a dynamic Assistant Manager - Front Office (Russian Speaker) to lead the Front Office team and uphold Hyatt brand standards in delivering exceptional guest experiences.

In this role you will supervise daily operations, drive guest satisfaction, manage upselling opportunities, coordinate with other departments, and coach staff to foster a positive, guest-centric culture within a fast-paced, multicultural hotel.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years Front Office experience in hotels, including at least 1 year in a supervisory or Assistant Manager role.
• Fluency in Russian and English is required.
• Experience with Opera PMS or a similar property management system preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing day-to-day Front Office operations and guest service.
• Uphold Hyatt brand standards and deliver exceptional guest experiences.
• Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and service recovery professionally.
• Greet, check in, and coordinate for VIP and long-stay guests.
• Monitor arrivals, departures, room inventory, and overbooking situations.
• Ensure VIP rooms and long-stay rooms are prepared and pre-blocked.
• Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and Front Office areas for quality.
• Assist in revenue by upselling and inventory control, support forecasts and budgets.
• Coordinate with Housekeeping, Reservations, Engineering and other departments.
• Provide briefings and foster effective team communication.
• Supervise and develop Front Office staff; assist with recruitment and scheduling.
