Job summary

Palazzo Versace Dubai is seeking a professional Front Office Associate to warmly welcome guests, manage check-ins and check-outs, and support guest needs in a luxury, 5-star environment. You will handle payments, upsell rooms, and protect guest privacy while updating records in the Opera system.

This role requires strong Russian and English language skills, hospitality schooling, and at least two years of front desk experience in a five-star hotel, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and Opera

Qualifications

• Secondary education or a degree in hotel management.
• Minimum 2 years of front desk experience in a 5-star hotel.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Proficiency with Opera Front Office Applications.
• Fluency in written and spoken Russian and English.

Responsibilities

• Give a warm and engaging welcome to guests on arrival and perform guest check-in.
• Take payment from guests on departure and close their bills correctly.
• Be efficient in assisting guests throughout their stay with any requirements.
• Sell rooms to walk-in guests at the maximum rate possible.
• Ensure that the Guest Services desk is manned, operationally prepared and stocked at all times.
• Maintain the privacy of all guests by ensuring that no details are disclosed.
• Update all information on the Registration Card in Opera at check-in.
• Ensure all guests are assisted in a timely manner with special requests and reservations.
• Scan the passport of every guest on arrival and save the data in Opera.
• Attend daily handover briefing at the beginning of each shift.
• Carry out cashiering duties including foreign currency exchange and paid-outs.
• Maintain cash float and balance it at all times.
• Perform related duties and special projects as requested by Front Office Manager/Team Leader.
