Job summary

Sail Master Shipping LLC is seeking a results-driven freight forwarding sales professional in Dubai. You will generate leads, approach importers and exporters, and convert inquiries into confirmed shipments while building long-term client relationships.

Responsibilities include preparing quotations, negotiating rates with carriers and service providers, coordinating with operations, and maintaining a robust sales pipeline to meet targets. UAE market familiarity is a plus.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in freight forwarding pricing and sales is essential.
• Strong knowledge of air freight, sea freight, import/export procedures, and logistics pricing.
• Demonstrated ability to generate new leads, acquire customers, and bring business to the company.
• Experience negotiating freight rates with carriers, agents, and service providers.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, presentation, and customer relationship management skills.
• A proactive, target-oriented attitude with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good knowledge of the UAE freight forwarding market and established industry contacts will be an advantage.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with freight forwarding systems or CRM tools is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop new business opportunities and generate leads for air, sea, land freight and other logistics services.
• Actively approach potential customers including importers, exporters, traders, and corporate clients.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers and develop long-term partnerships.
• Prepare competitive quotations for import/export shipments.
• Obtain and negotiate rates with shipping lines, airlines, overseas agents, transporters and other service providers.
• Follow up on quotations and convert inquiries into confirmed shipments.
• Maintain an active sales pipeline and achieve sales targets.
• Coordinate with the operations team to ensure smooth shipment execution and customer satisfaction.
• Monitor market rates, competitor pricing and industry trends to stay competitive.
