Job summary

SCC Services Romania is seeking an experienced Deployment Engineer for a freelance, hybrid role in the UAE. The position covers planning, coordinating, and executing software deployments across development, testing, and production environments on an initial 6-month contract.

Responsibilities include release management, CI/CD improvements, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring system stability and security during releases. Remote/on-site balance applies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering or related field.
• 4+ years of Deployment Engineering, Release Management, DevOps, or System Administration experience.
• Strong understanding of software deployment and release processes.
• Experience with CI/CD tools and version control.
• Cloud familiarity with AWS/Azure/GCP.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and execute deployments across environments.
• Manage release schedules and deployment activities.
• Collaborate with Development, QA, Infra, and Operations teams.
• Automate deployments and improve CI/CD pipelines.
• Monitor deployments and troubleshoot issues during releases.
• Support rollback strategies and disaster recovery.
