Job summary

SCC Services Romania in the UAE is seeking a seasoned Machine Learning Engineer for an initial 6-month freelance contract. The role is hybrid, combining onsite work in Abu Dhabi area with remote collaboration, and offers potential extension based on project needs and performance.

You will design, develop, deploy, and maintain ML solutions, build end-to-end pipelines, work with data scientists and engineers, and implement MLOps practices to ensure production readiness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, AI, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 4+ years of experience in Machine Learning Engineering, AI Development, or related roles.
• Strong proficiency in Python and ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, Keras).
• Experience deploying ML models in production and working with cloud environments (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and MLOps practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy scalable ML models and AI solutions.
• Build and maintain end-to-end ML pipelines for data ingestion, training, testing, and deployment.
• Collaborate with data scientists, data engineers, and stakeholders to deliver production-ready solutions.
• Optimize models for performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Implement MLOps for deployment, monitoring, and maintenance.
• Work with large datasets to extract insights and improve model effectiveness.
• Develop APIs/services to support ML applications in production.
• Ensure data quality, model accuracy, and compliance with standards.
• Troubleshoot deployment and performance issues.
• Stay updated with emerging AI/ML technologies.
