Job summary

InterContinental Hotels Group in the United Arab Emirates seeks a Director of Commercial - Franchise (IMEA) to guide strategic and commercial direction for on-property sales, marketing, revenue management and distribution across the IMEA Franchise region. Role involves optimization of channels, driving RGI, and achieving budget outperformance while aligning with Winning Ways values.

Qualifications

Experience in regional sales, hotel and brands across multi-unit management.
Experience with multi-brand entities in an international context.
Geographical/international experience is required.
Ability to analyze, interpret and extract trends from data.

Responsibilities

Set strategic direction for the Regional Sales team and ensure annual targets are met or exceeded.
Provide commercial direction to hotel Sales and Marketing teams and develop strategies to achieve occupancy objectives.
Collaborate with Owners, Owners' representatives, GMs and Directors of Sales & Marketing on revenue goals and initiatives.
Represent brands in collateral, advertising, promotions and displays as brand custodian for the region.
Develop and pipeline talent for on-property and above-property sales teams.
